Help Turn Information Into Clear Communication

We’re looking for a Communications Assistant to support day-to-day communication activity from our Toronto office.

You’ll help prepare written and digital communications, gather information from different teams, coordinate communication projects, and make sure important messages are organized and delivered clearly.

This role would suit someone who enjoys writing, working with people, staying organized, and learning how communication supports a wider business.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with preparing internal and external communications
Draft and edit emails, announcements, presentations, newsletters, and other materials
Gather information from different departments and turn it into clear communication
Support social media and digital communication activity
Maintain communication calendars, schedules, and project timelines
Help coordinate meetings, events, presentations, and communication initiatives
Review written materials for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and consistency
Organize communication files, content, and supporting documentation
Help maintain consistent tone and messaging across different materials
Coordinate information and updates between internal teams
Support research into customers, audiences, industry activity, and relevant trends
Assist with preparing reports, updates, and presentations
Monitor outstanding communication requests and follow up when required
Contribute ideas for improving communication materials and processes

What’s Important

You’ll need strong written and verbal communication skills, good organization, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt your communication style for different audiences.

Previous communications, marketing, content, public relations, administration, customer service, event coordination, or similar experience is useful. Experience writing professional emails, creating presentations, managing digital content, or working with social media is helpful.

We’re looking for someone who can communicate professionally, meet deadlines, handle multiple requests, and take care with the accuracy and presentation of information.
