Work Shift: Weekday Afternoon (Monday - Thursday) 4:00 pm - 2:00 am)

What You Will Do

Perform hand hone, polish, v-hone and horizontal hone work from drawings and general instructions
Document actions in support of quality logs and communicates all discrepancies in machining to supervision
Work from set-up sheets, manufacturing sheets & drawings
Perform deburring, filing, polishing and cleaning of landing gear components as specified
Work in a safe team-oriented environment and participate as an active member of the implementation and execution of LEAN principles
Multi-task within the cell.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications You Must Have

High school diploma, with a minimum of 1-3 years of previous Honing/Machining experience.
Demonstrated ability to read micrometers / verniers and other measuring equipment

Demonstrated ability to use Matrix and read & interpret latest MPS/APS

The selected candidate has to be eligible to work in Canada; successful candidate must meet all requirements under ITAR and CCGP

Qualifications We Prefer

Certificate of Qualification (C of Q) is preferred
Demonstrated ability to operate and use an overhead crane in a safe manner

The salary range for this role is 61,334 CAD – 81,003 CAD . The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
