Internship dates: January, 5th to April, 23rd 2027.

Location: The position is based at our Longueuil location; internship from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

Lead small to medium technical and operational scope projects related to aircraft engine development and support the projects organization with its various tasks.
The candidate will lead and/or be involved in the following projects/tasks primarily focused on engine development and validation:
Work with multiple disciplines including Projects, Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Supply Chain.
Prepare material for the Integrated Product Team (IPT) to report on, and track progress.
Produce plans to track complex tasks.
The job will allow the candidate to use his/her collaborative leadership, technical, operational and trouble shooting skills, and to develop a wide understanding of gas turbine aircraft engines development and validation strategy.

What do you need to be successful?

Be eligible to work in Canada.
Be enrolled in a Canadian university throughout your internship.
Be able to work on-site in the province where you are hired if applicable.
Pursuing a degree in Mechanical engineering / aerospace engineering
Excellent communication skills in both French and English (spoken/written).
Be well organized.
Capable to navigate tasks of varying urgency.
Competent in Project Management.
MS Excel & Project (Intermediate).
Able to work autonomously, with little supervision.

Although this position is part of a French-speaking work environment, it requires a working knowledge of English to read and understand specialized instructions, plans, drawings and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and sometimes communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Travaillera avec plusieurs groups incluant ingénierie de projet, opérations, fabrication et concepteurs, approvisionnement.
Préparera les rapports et assurera l'état d'avancement de projets pour les équipes de produit intégrés.
Produira des échéanciers pour des actions complexes.
Ce projet appellera le candidat à utiliser ses aptitudes de leadership en collaboration, ses aptitudes techniques, opérationnelles et de résolution de problème. Il l'aidera à développer une connaissance élargie d'un moteur à turbine pour aéronef, sa définition, fabrication et une vaste compréhension de la stratégie de développement et de validation des moteurs d’avion

Être éligible à travailler au Canada.
Être inscrit dans une université canadienne pendant toute la durée de votre stage.
Être en mesure de travailler sur place dans la province où vous êtes embauché, le cas échéant.
Poursuivre des études dans Génie mécanique / Génie aérospatial
Excellentes compétences en communication en français et l’anglais (parlé et écrit) sera requis pour communiquer avec toute l’équipe.
Sens de l'organisation et capacité à travailler sous pression avec des priorités concurrentes et variables
Compétences en matière de gestion de projet
