Job Description

Rug Doctor is hiring a full-time, Monday-Friday, Route Delivery Technician with full benefits. Your day will include making sure the rental display is clean, stocked and well maintained at multiple retail locations on an assigned route. To include, but not limited to, inspecting, cleaning/servicing rental machines, maintain floor space under/around displays, and invoicing. As needed will implement new procedures, set/close store locations, and warehouse management, including shipping/receiving of products at assigned location for use in completing job duties. We are seeking a responsible, self-starter to provide service to established retail accounts located in the Winnipeg, MB and surrounding areas. Route requires overnight travel, 1 to 2 nights a month; depending on company needs.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid Province driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Meet physical requirements - bending, stooping, kneeling, lift/raise up to 50lbs from ground to higher levels, and manually push/pull up to 75lbs
  • Ability to work in different weather climates - Hot, Cold, Etc.
  • The ability to drive a service van for consecutive hours daily

Responsibilities

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21, have a high school diploma or GED, and hold a valid provincial driver's license with a clean driving record. They must be able to travel overnight occasionally, drive a service van for consecutive hours, work in varied weather, and meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and pushing or pulling up to 75 pounds.
