WE’RE HIRING: SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

Rumble Wellness Group | Independent Contractor | Remote, Canada

You create momentum. You build relationships. You turn ideas into sales.

You know the difference between marketing that looks good and marketing that actually gets people through the door.

You’re creative, resourceful, and action-oriented. You can develop a campaign, create the content, pitch a partnership, organize an event, and follow through without waiting for someone to tell you what to do next.

You love the energy of fitness, wellness, hospitality, and community-driven brands. Most importantly, you understand that great marketing isn't just about attention - it's about results.

WHO WE ARE

Rumble Wellness Group brings together two experience-driven brands with other brands under development.

Rumble is where nightlife energy meets serious training. PRML Social brings together sauna, cold plunge, music, and social connection to create a different kind of wellness experience.

Our brands are built around community, memorable experiences, and bringing people together. We're growing across Canada and looking for someone who can turn that energy into stronger brand awareness, new partnerships, and measurable revenue.

THE ROLE

This is a hands-on, execution-focused contract role spanning marketing, social media, partnerships, sales development, and events.

You'll work independently while collaborating with our operations and marketing teams, including reporting to senior level stakeholders.

We're looking for someone who can connect the dots between getting attention and generating business. You'll help identify opportunities, create content, build relationships, and execute initiatives that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Marketing & Social Media

  • Create, plan, and publish engaging social content across both brands, including copywriting, content calendars, and campaign execution.
  • Turn events, partnerships, promotions, and customer experiences into compelling content.
  • Identify opportunities to generate buzz through trends, collaborations, and community-driven storytelling.
  • Monitor performance and use insights to improve campaigns and drive results.

Partnerships & Business Development

  • Proactively prospect local businesses, community organizations, influencers, creators, and corporate groups.
  • Generate opportunities for corporate sales, group bookings, private events, cross-promotions, and customer acquisition.
  • Lead outreach, pitch ideas, manage follow-ups, and move opportunities from initial conversation to confirmed partnership or sale.
  • Maintain an organized pipeline of prospects and track business development activity.

Events & Community Activation

  • Develop and execute events, pop-ups, collaborations, and community activations.
  • Coordinate partners, promotion, logistics, and content to deliver a strong customer experience.
  • Turn events into repeatable revenue opportunities and lasting community relationships.

Sales & Execution

  • Translate marketing initiatives into tangible outcomes, including leads, memberships, bookings, and revenue.
  • Work with operations and location teams to identify opportunities and implement practical sales and marketing initiatives.
  • Track key results, test new ideas, and refine execution based on what drives business.
  • Manage projects from idea through delivery, keeping stakeholders informed and priorities moving forward.

WHO YOU ARE

You're a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, getting things done, and seeing a direct connection between your work and business results.

You:

  • Have experience in marketing, sales, social media, partnerships, events, or business development.
  • Are a strong communicator who can create compelling content, pitch ideas, and build relationships.
  • Understand that marketing success goes beyond likes and impressions - it should drive traffic, sales, and retention.
  • Are proactive about outreach and comfortable selling an idea or opportunity.
  • Can manage multiple projects independently, stay organized, and deliver without constant direction.
  • Balance creative thinking with practical, hands-on execution.
  • Thrive in a fast-moving environment where initiative and follow-through matter.

Experience in fitness, wellness, hospitality, retail, or multi-location businesses is an asset. Familiarity with social media tools, CRM platforms, and Mindbody is a plus.

THIS ROLE ISN'T FOR YOU IF…

  • You prefer strategy decks over hands-on execution.
  • You expect others to handle content creation, outreach, and event logistics.
  • You measure success through engagement alone rather than business results.
  • You need constant direction to move projects forward.

THE DETAILS

  • Location: Remote; candidates based in Calgary, Vancouver, or Toronto.
  • Engagement: Independent contractor, not a permanent employee position.
  • Hours: Approximately 20–40 hours per week, depending on business needs and agreed scope.
  • Compensation: Hourly contract rate based on experience.
  • Schedule: Flexible, with occasional evening and weekend availability for events as needed.

This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across two growing brands, work directly with senior leadership, and see your ideas turn into real-world experiences and business results.

If you create momentum, build relationships, and get things done, we'd love to meet you.
