With deep technical expertise across a broad range of services, we drive success on ambitious building, industry, and infrastructure projects.

We are a value-based organization, which means everything we do relates to our three core values: innovation, integrity, and integration. So, when we look for new people to join our team, alignment to these values is a vital piece of our people puzzle. Here’s what this looks like:

You push the boundaries of what’s possible.
People know they can rely on you to follow through on your commitments.
You believe that when a group of people come together, they can achieve more than any one person could alone.

If this sounds like you and you’re ready to join an award-winning organization and work alongside renowned technical and exceptionally innovative colleagues, RWDI is the place for you.

A recent graduate of a post-secondary engineering or engineering-related program incorporating studies in fluid dynamics and/or building science
A strong understanding of the fundamental physics of fluid flow, heat and mass transfer
Demonstrated initiative, independent problem-solving methods/capabilities, exceptional coordination and communication skills
Experience simulating complex systems with simplified models
An ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment with minimal supervision while multitasking in meeting deadlines
An aptitude for working in a highly collaborative, team environment

Preference will be given to candidates with the following experience:

Knowledge of building code and ASHRAE standards, curtain wall, fenestration, or HVAC systems in residential or commercial applications
Experience interpreting and working with architectural, structural, or mechanical drawings
Calculating/estimating inputs for both fluid and heat transfer boundary conditions

Presenting results in a clear and concise manner
Experience with building thermal simulation software
Advanced-level Microsoft Excel capabilities
Programming/scripting experience (Python, C++, C#, VBA)
Experience working within open-source operating systems (Linux)
