S+C Partners is a full-service CPA firm and trusted advisor to successful private businesses. From our Streetsville office, we deliver personalized accounting, tax, and IT advisory services in a supportive, fast-paced, and forward-thinking environment.

We are seeking a Client Service Accountant who holds a CPA designation in good standing and has at least four years of public accounting experience. The successful candidate will strengthen their technical and leadership capabilities while serving a diverse client base across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

Leading and planning audit and other assurance engagements, including reviews, from start to finish
Developing tailored audit and assurance procedures based on client needs, engagement requirements, and risk assessments
Preparing financial statements and related working papers for audit and assurance engagements in accordance with ASPE and applicable professional standards
Reviewing audit and assurance work prepared by junior staff, providing feedback, and ensuring compliance with applicable professional standards
Identifying and resolving audit and assurance matters, and clearly communicating engagement findings and recommendations to clients and managers
Managing multiple engagements while meeting deadlines and maintaining client satisfaction.

Qualifications

CPA designation in good standing
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
4+ years of progressive public accounting experience
Strong knowledge of audit and assurance standards, ASPE, and internal controls
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Caseware and TaxPrep
Valid Class G driver’s licence and access to a vehicle for client-site travel
