We are seeking an experienced
CA Gen Programmer with strong application programming and analysis experience, including hands-on experience with
CA Gen 8.5 or higher, Java/C++, Struts Framework, SSRS, UNIX/Linux, Oracle, SQL Server, Visual Studio, and public sector healthcare applications. The successful candidate will support the maintenance, development, testing, integration, configuration, security, and ongoing performance improvement of the CSDS application.

- University degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Description
The successful candidate will work as a
CA Gen Programmer, supporting the development, maintenance, analysis, testing, integration, configuration, and ongoing enhancement of the CSDS application.
The role will involve maintaining the CSDS application by evaluating client needs, maintaining PL/SQL packages, developing and maintaining Java applications, conducting various levels of testing, developing SQL components, participating in user experience and interface design, and supporting system analysis and development activities.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for ensuring secure application design and coding requirements are met, completing assigned design and development tasks, supporting application performance improvements, maintaining technical designs, and contributing to practices adopted by the CSDS team.
Deliverables
The successful candidate must deliver the following to successfully complete the engagement.
Activities Include But Are Not Limited To The Following
- Maintain the CSDS application by evaluating client needs.
- Maintain PL/SQL packages CSDS by adding new functionality or fixing existing bugs.
- Maintain a JAVA application.
- Conduct unit, functional and regression testing.
- Update functional specification.
- Develop SQL queries, views, stored procedures and triggers.
- Participate in the user experience/interface design of the CSDS application.
- Participate in the system analysis, design, development, implementation, integration, and configuration of CSDS application.
- Ensure that secure application design and coding requirements are being met for ongoing release maintenance and support.
- Complete all assigned design and development tasks.
- Support ongoing performance improvements of the applications when required.
- Support and contribute to practices adopted by the CSDS team.
- Create and maintain technical designs.
- Perform code testing and document test cases.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
Work Location and Hybrid Requirements
The successful candidate is required to work
onsite for the duration of the engagement with Service New Brunswick (SNB) at HSBC Place, 520 King Street, Fredericton, NB.
A
Hybrid working arrangement may be considered.
SNB will provide office space with access to pertinent information and resources for the duration of the engagement.
