We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Leader – Senior with strong PeopleSoft HCM functional expertise, project leadership, quality assurance, testing, and functional team leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2+, Oracle PeopleSoft applications, HR/Payroll systems, functional analysis, design, configuration, testing, and quality assurance.

Must Have

Provide senior functional expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the functional design and delivery of the project.
Provide functional advice to clients and team leveraging their PeopleSoft HCM functional knowledge to meet project Human Capital Management goals and objectives, ensuring efficiency.
PeopleSoft HCM functional expertise in leading analysis, design, and configuration.
Minimum of 5+ years of functional lead experience and 5+ years of experience as a QA.

Responsibilities

Provide senior functional expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the functional design and delivery of the project.
Provide functional advice to clients and team leveraging their PeopleSoft HCM functional knowledge to meet project Human Capital Management goals and objectives, ensuring efficiency.
Provide specialized PeopleSoft HCM functional expertise in leading the analysis, design, and configuration of the Ontario Public Service (OPS) enterprise HR/Payroll system.
Ability to analyse, evaluate, and prioritize potential issues and provide advice on resolution.
Suggest opportunities to improve design and configuration of PeopleSoft modules in use.
Lead system analysts and senior functional analysts' team for both OPS and Fee-for-Service resources.
Experience with quality assurance principles, practices, tools, and structured methodology, including defect tracking and handling.
Provide senior technical expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the testing of I&IT solutions – PeopleSoft PUM upgrade, Tools upgrade, and turning on new features, including UI changes.
Provide technical advice to clients and leverage OPS I&IT solutions and applications to meet program/service goals and objectives, ensuring efficiency.
Provide specialized PeopleSoft HCM technical expertise in leading the testing of the OPS enterprise HR/Payroll system.
Ability to analyse, evaluate, and prioritize potential defects.
Suggest opportunities to improve testing quality or effort.

Desirable Skills

Knowledge and understanding of the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge.
Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.
