We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Leader – Senior with strong PeopleSoft HCM functional expertise, project leadership, quality assurance, testing, and functional team leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2+, Oracle PeopleSoft applications, HR/Payroll systems, functional analysis, design, configuration, testing, and quality assurance.

Must Have

• Provide senior functional expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the functional design and delivery of the project.
• Provide functional advice to clients and team leveraging their PeopleSoft HCM functional knowledge to meet project Human Capital Management goals and objectives, ensuring efficiency.
• PeopleSoft HCM functional expertise in leading analysis, design, and configuration.
• Minimum of 5+ years of functional lead experience and 5+ years of experience as a QA.

Description

Responsibilities

• Provide senior functional expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the functional design and delivery of the project.
• Provide functional advice to clients and team leveraging their PeopleSoft HCM functional knowledge to meet project Human Capital Management goals and objectives, ensuring efficiency.
• Provide specialized PeopleSoft HCM functional expertise in leading the analysis, design, and configuration of the Ontario Public Service (OPS) enterprise HR/Payroll system.
• Ability to analyse, evaluate, and prioritize potential issues and provide advice on resolution.
• Suggest opportunities to improve design and configuration of PeopleSoft modules in use.
• Lead system analysts and senior functional analysts' team for both OPS and Fee-for-Service resources.
• Experience with quality assurance principles, practices, tools, and structured methodology, including defect tracking and handling.
• Provide senior technical expertise, project leadership, and coordination of activities in the testing of I&IT solutions – PeopleSoft PUM upgrade, Tools upgrade, and turning on new features, including UI changes.
• Provide technical advice to clients and leverage OPS I&IT solutions and applications to meet program/service goals and objectives, ensuring efficiency.
• Provide specialized PeopleSoft HCM technical expertise in leading the testing of the OPS enterprise HR/Payroll system.
• Ability to analyse, evaluate, and prioritize potential defects.
• Suggest opportunities to improve testing quality or effort.

• Knowledge and understanding of the Project Management Institute's Project Management Body of Knowledge.
• Knowledge and understanding of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
• Knowledge and understanding of Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and related regulations and standards.

Experience Leading Functional Teams – 25%

• Experience leading functional teams to perform analysis, design, and configuration for the entire project lifecycle.
  
  

PeopleSoft HCM Testing Experience – 20%

• Experience leading functional tests, system integration testing, load testing, performance testing, user acceptance testing, and payroll parallel testing for the PeopleSoft HCM application.
  
  

Quality Assurance Experience – 15%

• Experience with quality assurance principles, practices, tools, and structured methodology, including defect tracking and handling.
