The successful candidate will work with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), document processing, workflow automation, secure APIs, modern web technologies, Azure services, and human-in-the-loop workflows. The role will support the development of the
Curriculum AI Assistant Platform, combining AI agents and user workflows while ensuring curriculum experts remain responsible for all decisions and approvals.

Description
Demonstrated experience designing, developing and integrating AI-enabled applications, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, agent-based workflows, document processing solutions, and human-in-the-loop review and approval processes.
This role will support the development of the
Curriculum AI Assistant Platform, which combines AI agents and user workflows to accelerate curriculum development while keeping curriculum experts responsible for all decisions and approvals.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and support AI-powered applications and workflows
- Design, implement and maintain data pipelines, including extraction, transformation and loading activities
- Translate technical specifications into working, tested applications
- Develop detailed programming specifications and write, test, debug and maintain application code
- Develop and integrate AI agents into a secure web-based platform
- Develop APIs and application services that support AI capabilities, document processing and workflow automation
- Implement human-in-the-loop workflows that allow users to review, validate and approve AI-generated content
- Resolve technical issues and provide support during implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance
- Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities
Experience And Skill Set Requirements
Full Stack Development and Solution Architecture – 45%
- Experience designing, developing, testing and supporting enterprise web applications
- Experience with front-end and back-end development using modern development frameworks and design patterns
- Experience designing and implementing scalable application architectures
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs, application services and middleware components
- Experience integrating front-end applications with APIs and backend services
- Experience working with relational databases, data modelling, SQL and data integration solutions
- Experience designing, developing, testing, debugging and maintaining application code
- Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes

- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and backlog items
- Experience estimating effort and breaking work into implementable increments
- Experience collaborating with business analysts, UX designers, architects, QA resources and product owners
- Experience documenting technical requirements, solution designs and implementation approaches
- Experience supporting MVP delivery and iterative product enhancement
