We are seeking a Senior Solutions Designer with extensive experience in Oracle Siebel CRM, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), business and functional design documentation, application flows, and business architecture. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in gathering and translating business requirements into functional and technical solution designs, developing application workflows and screen mock-ups, conducting user research, and ensuring accessibility and quality assurance standards are maintained.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing hosting technology solutions based on client specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models while supporting business requirements and project deliverables. Experience with public-sector environments, transfer payment or grant models, and corporate quality assurance standards will be considered an asset.

Must Have

• At least 7+ years of experience designing solutions using Oracle Siebel CRM or Adobe AEM technologies.
• Experience developing business design documents and functional and non-functional requirements.
• Experience developing high-level application flows to support business requirements.
• Experience developing functional design documents.
• 7+ years of experience in Siebel and Adobe AEM solution implementation.
• Demonstrated experience creating and updating business architecture artefacts.

• Experience with the Public Sector Transfer Payment (Grant) Model would be an asset.
• Experience ensuring that corporate QA standards are followed and maintained would be an asset.

Description

Responsibilities

Undertakes the design of hosting technology solutions based on the client's service specifications, standards, policies, best practices, and cost models to meet client application business requirements and project or initiative deliverables.

General Skills

• Knowledge of integrated networking technologies, mainframe and midrange servers, enterprise storage and Storage Area Networks (SAN), and personal computer system technologies.
• Knowledge of related best practices, OPS directory and messaging standards, standard facilities infrastructure and architecture management, facility service delivery processes, infrastructure policies, procedures and direction, cost models, and procurement processes.
• Ability to gather client business requirements, corporate I&IT information mandates, client information technology strategic plans, environmental requirements, and standards.
• Ability to participate in solution development and provide advice on short- and long-term solution service development activities.
• Knowledge of leading-edge technology design criteria, security and recovery procedures, and the preparation of technical specifications for the installation, testing, and performance of integrated, multi-service systems. Ability to assess the performance and capacity of existing systems, recommend performance improvements, and develop technical documentation.
• Experience planning, migrating, implementing, and sustaining large, complex system development projects.
• Knowledge of technology developments, trends, and new products to evaluate their application to clients' short- and long-term technology requirements.
• Basic knowledge of project management methodologies, such as PMBOK, analytical tools, and processes.
• Conceptual and analytical skills to assess and evaluate client needs and conduct cost-benefit analyses for new technology requirements when planning and designing solutions.
• Experience designing and developing large, complex, highly available, mission-critical server applications.
• Experience evaluating systems to assess conditions, technical performance, and capacity of existing systems and determine the need and feasibility of expansion, renovation, or replacement.

• Technical Solution and Development Skills – 40%
• Experience creating detailed process flows and developing high-level screen designs that map process steps to actual views in software solutions.
• Experience designing solutions with user experience and accessibility requirements, including WCAG and AODA.
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
• Experience developing user personas and user journey maps.
• Experience analysing user feedback and designing solutions to address user issues and pain points.
• Experience creating wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups using UI prototyping software such as Figma or Adobe XD.
• Experience researching and applying industry best practices.
• Demonstrated experience developing business and system use cases and identifying and documenting business rules.
• Demonstrated experience creating and analysing business requirements documents.
• Demonstrated experience identifying risks and providing solutions.
• Demonstrated experience creating quality assurance plans and writing test cases.
• Experience working with Oracle Policy Automation (OPA) / Oracle Intelligent Advisor (OIA) is a strong asset.

• Demonstrated experience with change management methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience documenting test strategies, scenarios, and plans for user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Demonstrated experience with Rational Unified Process (RUP).
• Experience developing application view visibility and CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) matrices.
• Experience developing application screen mock-ups and screen flows, and translating screen designs and workflows into wireframes and/or prototypes.
