We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Software Developer – CRM to support the configuration, development, integration, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions for Ministry registration and permit workflows. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, Dataverse, low-code and custom development, Dynamics CRM Customer Service Workspace, .NET, C#, JavaScript, DevOps, and cloud technologies.

Must Have

Experience with Agile methodologies.
Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure solution design.
Working knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration, and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies.
Working knowledge of both low-code development and custom development on Dynamics 365.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.
Experience with Dynamics CRM Customer Service Workspace, Agent Experience Profile, Session Templates, Workstream, and Routing.

Description

The Ontario Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) Species at Risk Branch (SARB) is responsible for the administration and issuance of Registrations under the new Species Conservation Act (SCA), 2025.

The objective of this project is to build a modern online Registration system for both external and internal users.

Technology Stack

Microsoft Dynamics CRM – Back office
MuleSoft – Middleware
Java/React – Public-facing portal

This position is to configure MS Dynamics 365 for Registration and Permit workflows for Ministry back-office staff and integrate this back office with the portal (Java/React) using MuleSoft middleware.

Experience And Skill Set Requirements

Technical Skills – 40%

Experience with Agile methodologies.
Experience with Dynamics 365, Microsoft Power Platform, and Azure solution design.
Working knowledge of Dynamics interoperability, integration, and capability with other Microsoft cloud technologies.
Working knowledge of both low-code development and custom development on Dynamics 365.
Working knowledge with Dataverse design and development.
Working knowledge of development in Azure technologies.
Working knowledge of .NET, C#, and JavaScript.
Working knowledge of DevOps, task boards, pipelines, etc.

Experience – 40%

Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.
Experience with Dynamics CRM Customer Service Workspace, Agent Experience Profile, Session Templates, Workstream, and Routing.
Proficiency in all cloud service models: SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
Certifications in Dynamics 365 and Azure are preferred.
Experience with Agile methodologies, including using Kanban/task boards.
Extensive experience developing in Dynamics 365 Customer Service, including:

Case Management
Knowledge Management
Customer Service Workspace Configuration
Power Platform
Power Apps, including Model-Driven App, Power Pages, and Canvas App
Custom PCF Controls
Development and Server-Side Templating Language Liquid

Experience with both low-code development and custom development on Dynamics 365.

Communication Skills – 20%

Strong communication skills to prepare documentation, including but not limited to reports, reviews, and assessments.
Ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively and in a user-friendly manner.
Ability to maintain a high level of customer service to both internal and external clients.
