Software Developer – Junior with hands-on experience in Java development, Oracle/SQL databases, REST APIs, web application development, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience developing and supporting large-scale, multi-client web applications and will be able to translate technical specifications into reliable, tested software applications.

Must Have
- 2+ years of experience as a designer and developer in large-scale, multi-client web applications.
- 2+ years of hands-on working experience in Java development with Oracle or SQL databases.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with REST APIs and RESTful Web Services.
- Knowledge of security gateways and protocols, including JWT, OAuth 2.0, and SSL Certificates.
- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.
Description
Responsibilities
- Required to translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
- This includes:
- Developing detailed programming specifications.
- Writing and/or generating code.
- Compiling data-driven programs, maintaining applications, and conducting unit tests.
- Resolves and troubleshoots technical problems that arise during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.

- Experience in programming and analysis; specialized software package support at the specified experience level.
- Ability to collaborate with IT Professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience in structured methodologies for the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of applications.
- Experience in designing, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting applications.

- Experience in application design, latest design patterns, deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.

- Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business-area stakeholders and subject matter experts.

Desirable Skills
- Knowledge and experience with programming Internet-ready applications.

- Experience reviewing, analysing, and modifying product installation scripts, including encoding, testing, and debugging.

Additional Skills For Oracle Software Developer
- Experience in conducting impact assessments on Oracle E-Business application customizations and extensions.
- Strong conversion experience in Accounts Receivable Collection modules.
- Strong programming skills in Oracle Database, PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripts, and Oracle Data Integrator.
- Proven business knowledge of General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Collections, Accounts Payable, and Inventory Modules of Oracle E-Business.
- Great knowledge of Oracle E-Business table structure related to GL, AR, Collections, AP, INV, and FND.
- Strong knowledge of SQL tuning and using partition tables.
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of data warehouse, ETL methodologies, and OBIEE.
- Demonstrated work experience with Java and Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) will be a great asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and leadership abilities to be able to oversee the quality assurance of the project from a technical perspective.

- 2+ years of experience as a designer and developer in large-scale, multi-client web applications.

Technical Skills and Experience – 35%

- Object-Oriented coding practices, including knowledge of design patterns, refactoring, and clean code.
- Experience with relational and hierarchical database technologies.
