Scope
The
Justice Technology Services – Digital Design Branch requires two (2)
Senior Software Developers with
8+ years of experience for building a modern digital information system and its integration with other internal and external applications.
Assignment Deliverables
The Justice Technology Services – Digital Design Branch requires two (2) Senior Software Developers with 8+ years of experience for building a modern cloud-based system and its integration with other internal and external applications.
The Successful Candidates Will Be Responsible For
- Provide application support.
- Support the testing team during system and UAT testing.
- Prepare deployment packages of code and instructions for builds in Development, UAT, and Production environments.
Desired Skills And Experience
- Extensive implementation experience in installation, configuration, customization, and extension of Microsoft Azure, as well as doing the deployment, troubleshooting, and production support for the applications developed.
- Experience in developing web-based solutions including sitemap writing and client-side JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience in developing Web/Windows applications using C#, .NET Core, ADO.NET, SQL Server 2005/2008R2, and .NET Framework 4.0/5.0 with strong knowledge of Object-Oriented concepts.
- Expertise in Database Systems, SQL, and Stored Procedures.
- Good knowledge of web development skills such as HTML, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, and Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010.
- Experience working on setting up relationships between System and Custom entities.
- Experience working on form customization using JavaScript.
- Experience in converting client requirements and functional specifications to technical design with effort estimation.
- Expertise in generating Entity Relationship Diagrams to describe the relation between different entities.
- Experience in converting client requirements and functional specifications to technical design with effort estimation and doing development for the same.
- Excellent analytical, logical, and interpersonal skills.
- Hard working and fast learner with a self-motivated personality.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft IIS 7.0/8.0.

- Expertise in database systems, MS SQL 2005, 2008, 2012, and stored procedures.
Criteria 4: Public Sector Experience – 5 Points

- Work Arrangement: Onsite
- This position requires working 7.25 hours per calendar day, sometime between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, excluding breaks, Monday to Friday inclusive, unless otherwise identified.
- The VOR Master Service Agreement expires on April 5, 2027, and includes a six (6)-month survival clause, allowing the Statement of Work (SOW) to continue, if operationally required, until October 5, 2027.
- Extension(s) are only allowed using unused days and/or funds remaining on the contract.
- No additional funds will be added beyond the maximum contract value and any extension options included in the original SOW.
- JTS may exercise its option(s) to extend the SOW beyond April 5, 2027, in accordance with the survival clause.
