Your role

As a Warehouse Specialist at Saab Canada, Inc., you play a vital role in keeping our operations running smoothly. You'll be responsible for supporting day-to-day warehouse, inventory, and shipping activities, ensuring that parts and materials are handled accurately and delivered on time.

What you will be doing:

Supporting the Warehouse Manager and collaborating closely with the Logistics Coordinator
Preparing domestic and international shipments, including hazardous materials (HAZMAT), while ensuring full compliance with Transport Canada regulations
Liaising with suppliers and service providers to coordinate shipments and inventory needs
Receiving and unpacking deliveries, verifying materials against documentation
Conducting inventory audits and stocktaking activities
Working collaboratively with stakeholders across Saab to ensure seamless operations
Contributing to a small, close-knit team where flexibility and shared responsibility are valued

This role offers genuine variety and the opportunity to develop your skills in a dynamic, hands-on environment.

Your profile

We're looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team setting. You don't need to tick every box – if you're motivated to learn and grow with us, we encourage you to apply.

What you would bring:

A high school diploma
2–3 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping, or receiving (candidates with less experience who demonstrate the right attitude are also encouraged to apply)
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, email, and Teams
Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
The ability to manage paperwork and documentation accurately
Physical capability to handle lifting up to 20 kg, work on ladders, assemble crates, and remain standing for extended periods
Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions during shipment activities
A valid driver's licence with a clean record, and the ability to operate a company vehicle when required
Access to a personal vehicle for commuting to the worksite
The ability to work independently with minimal supervision while being a strong team player
Flexibility and adaptability in a collaborative small-team environment

Nice to have:

Forklift certification (training will be provided if needed)
Experience working in a small team where roles and priorities may shift

This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around security protection. For positions requiring security clearance, additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

What you will be a part of
