Original job description

Firm Overview

SafeBridge Private Wealth serves emerging affluent and high-net-worth families who expect more than standard, off-the-shelf financial advice. These families move fast, build intentionally, and require strategic, tax-efficient solutions that keep pace with their ambitions. With a growing portfolio of complex, multigenerational client relationships, we are expanding our team to support the Managing Partner and his established roster of legacy clients and HNW families.

Role Summary

As an Associate Financial Advisor, you’ll operate as a strategic extension of the Managing Partner - supporting his client relationships, managing workflow, coordinating internal resources, and ensuring flawless execution across all planning initiatives. In addition, you will support the financial needs of our in-house SafeBridge clients who are looking for expertise in financial planning, wealth management and insurance planning. There will be no shortage of great clients to work with.

This role blends client-facing engagement with behind-the-scenes strategy and operational oversight. You will meet with and manage new and existing client needs, prepare planning work, coordinate insurance and wealth management tasks, ensure follow-through, and help manage and coordinate both the existing administrative team and future team expansion. This position is built for someone looking to grow into a Senior Advisor role while learning directly from an experienced leader in the Private Wealth division.

The Ideal Candidate

You believe meaningful client work begins with understanding: understanding the client, understanding the Partner you support, and understanding how to keep a busy practice running smoothly. You bring a calm, steady presence backed by strong ownership, initiative, and professional maturity.

You value relationships, think ahead, listen closely, and take pride in delivering a seamless advisory experience. You enjoy collaboration, supporting leaders, and contributing to a culture built on responsiveness, precision, and client-first execution. Above all, you see the long game and are committed to deepening your technical, strategic, and leadership capabilities within a Private Wealth environment.

Client Support & Relationship Management

· Support the Managing Partner and SafeBridge in serving legacy and HNW clients

· Join discovery calls, follow-ups, and client reviews

· Manage client communication, timelines, and service expectations

· Ensure a consistent, white-glove advisory experience

Insurance & Wealth Planning Execution

· Prepare analyses, illustrations, and tax-efficient strategy summaries

· Coordinate underwriting, carrier communication, and case advancement

· Identify planning opportunities based on client goals and circumstances

· Produce clean, client-ready planning deliverables

Managing Partner Support & Practice Coordination

· Help manage workflow, priorities, and meeting cadence for the Managing Partner

· Ensure follow-through on commitments and internal deadlines

· Anticipate needs and support efficient decision-making

· Act as a stabilizing operational partner in a fast-moving practice

Team Coordination & Growth Support

· Coordinate with administrative team to maintain execution quality

· Support onboarding and integration of future team hires

· Help build a disciplined, scalable service model

Operational & Administrative Excellence

· Maintain CRM accuracy, compliance processes, and documentation integrity

· Manage planning workflows and service pipelines

· Prepare agendas, summaries, and reporting packages

Skills & Requirements

· Fully life and mutual fund licensed in Ontario

· 1–3+ years of experience in advisory, planning, or insurance support roles

· Strong understanding of permanent insurance and tax-efficient structures

· High attention to detail and strong organizational discipline

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment

· Desire to grow into a Senior Advisor role

Compensation

Competitive salary + commission with a focus on larger potential earnings. Full-time role with clear career progression within the Private Wealth division.
