Safran Landing Systems is a subsidiary of Safran Landing Systems, a global leader in landing and braking systems for aircraft. The Mirabel plant is dedicated to the manufacturing of major components of landing gear for Airbus A320, A330, and A350 models, as well as the Boeing 787. It features state-of-the-art equipment for machining, polishing, and special processes, including heat treatment, shot peening, and surface treatments.

The supervisor is responsible for ensuring the progress of production activities to guarantee the efficiency of the teams.

Main Responsibilities

Monitor daily operations of their shift to ensure teams meet performance targets regarding production plans, quality, HSE, etc.
Coordinate the work of production teams on the ground
Ensure productivity and efficiency targets are met
Track indicators (deadline adherence, scrap rates, machine downtimes…)
If necessary, prioritize follow-up on production progress
Ensure the transition between the previous and following shifts and, if needed, reassign employees
Identify and anticipate problematic situations or areas for improvement and coordinate resources to ensure effective production
Guide, support, and supervise manufacturing employees (adherence to rules, communication, annual evaluations, approval of hours to be paid, etc.)
Manage schedule changes, overtime, absences, etc.
Support and participate in quality efforts, continuous improvement, Health, Safety, and Environment (IGP, 5S, risk analyses)
Promote the development of manufacturing employees' skills, including newcomers
Lead and participate in daily production follow-up team meetings (QRQC, …)

Requirements

Sunday from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Monday to Wednesday from 11:30 PM to 7:00 AM

Responsibilities
