Job Description

As our Sales Manager in Sage Intacct’s In Life Department, you will lead a team of Customer Account Managers (CAMs) every day. You will work closely with the CAMs to achieve their renewal, upsell, and account management quota goals. The ideal candidate will bring industry expertise, sales management experience, and a solution-oriented mindset to drive Account Managers' success and enhance customer satisfaction. You will be vital to Sage Intacct’s growth as a market leader in On-Demand Financial Management solutions.

To thrive in this role, you will build a cohesive team that reflects Sage Intacct’s customer-centric approach to account management. You will establish and maintain renewal and add-on forecasts, collaborate with Product Management and Marketing to develop vertical-specific strategies, and support the VP of Customer Success in creating scalable communication plans.

This is a hybrid office environment that meets 3 days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

Build and develop a successful and cohesive quota-carrying team of 6-8 CAMs.
Act as an escalation point for critical accounts and ensure successful quota outcomes.
Provide the Director with weekly forecast metrics on renewals and add-on opportunities.
Manage customer calls to action and health scorecards, tracking progress.
Participate in product demos and discovery sessions as needed by CAMs.
Create and manage quarterly objectives for CAMs, supporting business analysis and growth.

Requirements:

Strong expertise in Sage Intacct and experience across multiple departments (Marketing, Support, Product Management, etc.).
Experience engaging with C-level executives and building relationships.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to different situations and personalities.
Strong communication skills, including hosting webinars or leading meetings.
Minimum 5+ years of business experience and preferred experience managing a quota-based sales team.

The compensation will be determined by location, level, job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Some provinces in Canada require job postings to include a reasonable estimate of the salary range for the role.

For this role in this location, the target salary range for new hires is a base salary between C$110,000 and C$126,000. OTE (on-target earnings with commission) can equal up to C$210,000.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either a bonus plan based on company and individual performance or a role-based commission plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide eligible candidates with specific opportunities in our bonus or incentive programs. The listed range is just one component of Sage's total compensation package.
