About the Role

Digital Enterprise Technology (DET) blazes the trail of enterprise IT at Salesforce, built on the foundation of our core values - Trust, Ohana, Innovation. We own the world's foremost Salesforce Platform along with many other internal orgs, powering the tools our business stakeholders rely on to do their best work.

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our Salesforce Platform Center of Excellence team. In this role, you'll help keep our internal Salesforce instances secure, productive, and efficient by shaping the tools and applications that align with platform standards, guidelines, and best practices - with deep focus on platform security, environments, access, and governance.

What You'll Be Doing

Conduct market analysis and research to inform product strategy and surface new opportunities
Use data analytics and user feedback to weigh value against effort, measure product performance, and iterate on features that improve user experience and business outcomes
Partner with cross-functional teams - including Core Product, lines of business, and engineering - to keep product development cohesive
Engage executives and senior stakeholders on product plans, progress, and outcomes to build alignment and support
Identify risks early and build mitigation plans that keep delivery on track
Own the product roadmap, making prioritization calls that balance short-term needs against long-term goals, and communicate transparently to build stakeholder trust
Lead feature delivery end-to-end - from user research and user stories through UX design, prototyping, and working with engineering to build, test, and ship - while driving awareness and adoption internally
Stay close to business needs, user feedback, and the engineering roadmap to spot and develop new opportunities
Mentor other product managers and team members, helping raise the bar on product management practice across the team
Use AI tools throughout the product development lifecycle - synthesizing feedback, drafting lightweight specs, and rapid prototyping with engineering and design

Required Qualifications

What We're Looking For

8+ years in product management or product strategy, with significant time spent on the Salesforce Platform
A track record of delivering complex, transformative software products or solutions on the Salesforce Platform, with proven ability to follow through on commitments
Deep understanding of the Salesforce Platform - customization, user management configuration, integrations and APIs, security, and observability, across at least one Salesforce cloud or platform
Comfort working closely with engineering teams to understand technical tradeoffs and make informed calls, along with proficiency in product management tools and methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
Ability to translate business and technical requirements into a coherent product strategy, and to make and stand behind technology strategy recommendations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, using data to drive roadmap decisions and prioritization
A track record of exciting and leading cross-functional engineering teams
Ability to explain complex, technical ideas clearly to non-technical audiences
Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills, with the interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence cross-functional stakeholders
At least one of: Salesforce Platform App Builder, Administrator, or Platform Foundations certification
Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

Salesforce Agentforce Specialist certification
Certified Product Manager, with experience in Agile/Scrum techniques
Knowledge of cloud technologies and integrations
Familiarity with AI and other emerging or innovative technology platforms
