Position Summary:
The incumbent will possess a comprehensive understanding of all channels, customer bases, and market opportunities, while effectively managing relationships and driving sales across Dealer, Corporate, Direct, Retail, and Distributor channels with a focus on non-connected devices. This includes developing and implementing account and product strategies, launching new products, delivering sales presentations, and overseeing financial transactions.

The incumbent will lead regular meetings with customers in these segments and will be a trusted advisor capable of effectively communicating and executing SECA's vision and goals. A key focus will be on understanding and articulating industry trends in Mobile Communications and aligning them with Samsung's product portfolio.

Success in this role will be measured by the attainment of revenue targets, the creation of sales demand, and the minimization of financial frictions.

Role and Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Account & Category Management – Accessories and Ear buds - 45%
- Proactively Plan SKU listings, targets, budgets, advertising, promotions, etc. to maximize sales and ROI
- Review plans monthly and revising plan on a forward rolling rotation
- Provide pre-sale support with respect to solutions that enable wireless access to corporate intranets, messaging systems and custom back-office applications
- Responsible and accountable for assigned business sales segments with select Carrier Channel including Carrier account and Distribution business
- Work with SECA’s Technical Sales Manager and Convergence team when needed to maximize Samsung sales
- Manage the assigned channel in a profitable fashion, through the collection and communication of ideas and Information relating to competition and promotions
- Work closely with the channel account Carrier and Channel partner corporate sales manager to develop sales opportunities
- Identify strategies as they relate to the customer’s software development, application functionality, and systems architecture
- Build strong customer awareness of all Samsung products and services
- Attain all objectives assigned to account opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets
- Provide technical support and training to the sales teams as required to identify and qualify new accounts
- Deliver webinars and/or lunch-and-learn sessions to direct sales channels on new technologies and products
- Perform product presentations, both new product introductions and present product offerings to Customers and prospects as prescribed by the Company sales guidelines
- Acquire and report marketing information available in the assigned channel Responsible for creating and delivering compelling sales presentations by leveraging exemplary written and verbal communication skills
- Manage the funnel development for the specific carrier with focus on the carrier B2B commercial and enterprise reps
- Develop partnership between the company and accounts through the coordination of sales, contracts, technical support teams, and internal sales on specific accounts to increase Samsung advocates including SLT and channel management terms
- Perform long range planning to increase account penetration, customer satisfaction and sales growth for long term results and achievement of assigned quota
- Rollup all activity and provide assessment of quarterly projections of revenue and units on a weekly basis
- Accountable for assigned geographic channel, sellers and strategic partners
- Work independently and/or travel up to 50% of the time
- Controlling channel sales expenses in accordance with Company guidelines
- Work closely with Samsung marketing to maximize sales within each National Account

Account Operation Management – All categories - 45%
- Identify and resolve any financial issues including payment, invoicing, dispute and SD reconciliation to minimize financial risk and maximize rooms for sell-in and sell-out revenue
- Manage promotional programs to ensure timely LOA delivery and promo execution
- Support SCM team with forecast data management for urgent matters

Planning for MX all product categories– 10%
- Know, Summarize & Communicate Account results, program summarizes, forecasts to ensure the business understands status, gaps, and requirements to achieve targets
- Create and manage an efficient sales process between customer, Account teams & PM and Operations Organization
- Support Mobile strategy development through market analysis, risk assessment, and facilitation of ideation discussions for longer term direction
- Support a result reporting process and manage the weekly/monthly/quarterly requirements based on Samsung defined KPI’s

Skills and Qualifications

Requirements

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Knowledge:

Must possess a strong knowledge of industry products
Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in organizations: from senior executives to support staff within and outside of the company
Strong presentation skills
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must be highly self-motivated and capable of self-directed work given only broad objectives and limited direct supervision
Must be capable of planning, organizing and prioritizing multiple and simultaneous projects and assignments
Proficiency in the use of computer data-mining and spreadsheet programs
Demonstrated organizing, business planning, and decision-making skills
Demonstrated ability to create business planning documents: presentations, pro forma models, trends analysis, description of key strategies, quantitative and qualitative analysis and objective setting

Experience:

3-5 years in Sales preferred
5-7 years of experience in Business Operations, Planning Product Management or Channel Sales preferred
Experience within the Mobile Industry and National Retail an asset
Proven selling ability

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $93,000 to $128,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience.
