At Samsung Ads, the best advertising feels like part of the experience – and you'll help bring it to life. Here, you'll build advertising solutions that connect brands with audiences through one of the world's largest connected TV platforms. By combining data, technology, and creativity, you'll help redefine the future of connected TV advertising.

We focus on enabling brands to connect with Samsung audiences across all devices. As an international company, Architects at Samsung work on big complex projects with stakeholders and teams located around the globe.

Our purpose is to deliver unparalleled results for our customers. Samsung Ads uniquely transforms the advertising landscape by using comprehensive data to build the world’s most intelligent connected audience platform. We deliver on Samsung Electronics’ 51-year commitment to excellence through smart, easy, effective advertising solutions to make advanced video advertising work.

Location: Toronto, CA

Samsung Electronics has spent decades building world-class consumer technology that reaches hundreds of millions of people globally (#1 global manufacturer of TVs and mobile devices for 20 years running). Samsung Ads is the natural evolution of that success - transforming Samsung's scale, data, and technology into a performance-driven advertising platform that helps brands reach high value audiences and deliver real business outcomes. The Samsung Customer Solutions team is focused on mid-sized & high growth advertisers (and their ad agencies) with a goal of bringing in new business while also driving efficiencies & growing existing customers.

Our mission is to empower customers to grow by taking ownership of their marketing journey, with rigorous follow-through and solutions that drive results. We operate with integrity, tenacity, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

We are currently looking for a talented Sales Manager (IC) focused on growing revenue and building new relationships with assigned agencies and advertisers. The ideal candidate should have a passion for streaming video, expertise in data driven audience activation, and a pulse on new multi-channel advertising technologies. With the rapid growth of programmatic activation in Connected TV, this seller should be a programmatic expert, equally comfortable speaking in terms like PG, PMP, and SSP as they are with insertion orders.

This individual must be able to think strategically, anticipate how buying decisions are made, uncover the business needs of key clients and have a proven ability to close deals. Additionally, this Sales Manager will be the consummate team-player and have the ability to work collaboratively across the sales organization within a fluid and fast-paced environment. This position will carry an annual revenue goal and a core focus on new business development.

The Sales Manager position is based in downtown Toronto with domestic CA travel as needed. You will report to the Country Manager, Canada. If you're interested in joining a rapidly growing team working to build a unique, world-class advertising sales organization with a relentless focus on design and customer experience, you've come to the right place.

As an individual contributor, you'll be supported by our world class ad operations team and will benefit from working with a leadership team that is chartering our explosive growth.

Be the voice of the customer and communicate market trends and industry shifts, including implications to our products teams.
Act as an internal champion for proposed Smart TV advertising strategy across other key Samsung stakeholders.
Understand Samsung’s TV Data, products and measurement tools to help build relevant advertising solutions for our advertisers

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience in new business development across traditional TV and digital media advertising, including CTV, OLV and data activation

Ability to effectively present to agencies and advertisers both virtually and in-person
Experience working in both entrepreneurial and established corporate environments
Proven ability to consistently close business and drive revenue growth

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and consistent follow-through

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $120,000-$140,000 plus quarterly bonus. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
