About The Role

We need a dedicated owner for Product-Led Growth across ScalePad.

The primary goal is to move more revenue into scalable, product-led motions so the broader GTM team can operate more simply and focus on higher-value, more complex customer interactions.

This role will own the PLG strategy, customer journey, self-service experience, in-product messaging, experimentation, and AI-powered growth opportunities.

This will be a focused, single-threaded role with clear accountability for PLG outcomes.

The person will not directly manage the development or marketing resources. Instead, they will organize and coordinate the work by:

Setting priorities and maintaining the PLG roadmap
Defining requirements, briefs, and success measures
Sequencing work across the two developers and marketing resources
Managing dependencies and keeping stakeholders aligned
Coordinating with Product, Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, and Engineering

The role should operate with a degree of independence to challenge existing GTM processes and build a dedicated PLG engine. However, it must remain highly collaborative with the rest of the organization.

What You’ll Own

Get ready to go beyond order-taking. Your strategic responsibilities include:

Increase revenue generated through PLG and self-service motions.
Own the customer journey across PLG and Meridian from acquisition through activation, purchase, onboarding, renewal, and expansion.
Extend internal quoting and account-management tools into the ScalePad Client Portal.
Improve self-service capabilities around quoting, product selection, add-ons, account changes, and other commercial workflows.
Own in-product messaging across the ScalePad platform.
Use product signals to improve marketing, sales, customer success, and expansion motions.
Establish the analytics, funnels, cohorts, dashboards, and experiments required to measure progress.
Identify and develop AI-powered opportunities across self-service, product guidance, personalization, account management, and sales support.
Coordinate the PLG pod and ensure work remains focused on measurable customer and revenue outcomes.

What we’re looking for

We care about what you can do more than where you’ve done it. However, experience in the following areas will help you hit the ground running in this role:

Experienced in PLG, growth product management, lifecycle, product management, or a similar B2B SaaS role.
Highly data-driven and comfortable with product analytics, experimentation, funnels, cohorts, and basic SQL.
Strong in AI development and familiar with LLMs, APIs, AI coding tools, workflow automation, evaluation, and guardrails.
Able to prototype basic front-end experiences using HTML, CSS, JavaScript or TypeScript, and ideally React.
Comfortable working independently and achieving a commercial outcome.
Able to translate customer and business problems into clear priorities for developers and marketing.
Commercially minded, with an understanding of conversion, expansion, retention, sales efficiency, and revenue operations.
Effective at influencing across teams without relying on direct authority.

What Success Looks Like

More ScalePad revenue moving through PLG and self-service motions.
Less manual effort is required from Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Account Management.
Higher activation, adoption, and time-to-value.
Increased use of Client Portal quoting and account-management capabilities.
Better handoffs between product behaviour, marketing, sales, and customer success.
In-product messaging that improves engagement and commercial outcomes.
AI-enabled experiences that create measurable customer or business value.
A repeatable process for experimentation and continuous improvement.
