Key responsibilities

Act as a trusted business partner providing clear financial insights and visibility to support decision-making.
Lead the annual budget and rolling forecast processes, ensuring robust assumptions, timely submissions, and clear identification of risks and opportunities.

Develop and monitor KPIs and metrics relating to the achievement of financial objectives, providing visibility and control over business evolution.
Proactively support business leaders with financial information and analysis with a focus on analyzing and optimizing service/project profitability and cost structures.
In coordination with Group Treasury, manage relationships with financial institutions, insurers, and other key stakeholders.
Ensure full compliance with statutory financial reporting, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate accounting activities of the Shared Service and ensure accurate closings, including review of the balance sheet reconciliations, provisions, accruals, and key estimates.
Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate audit planning, documentation, and follow-up actions.
Coordinate corporate income tax, indirect tax, payroll tax, and other statutory filings with external specialists, and support tax audits or requests from authorities.
Ensure the reliability of financial statements and compliance with Canadian and US statutory, tax, accounting, and Group reporting requirements; maintain a strong internal control environment.
As a key member of Scalian Global Finance Organization, proactively support and contribute to the transformation initiatives.
Lead the deployment and adoption of Group finance systems, including ERP, Treasury Management System (Kyriba), Enterprise Performance Management, and reporting solutions.

Profil recherché

Relevant degree in Business, Economics or similar. MBA or Master in Finance is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in Finance/Controlling.
Strong business acumen required and strong analytical skills: good understanding of the consulting environment, including business models, cost structures, and project dynamics.
Previous experience in financial transformation, ERP implementation, and BI tools.
Solid FP&A and controlling background, ability to derive meaningful actions from figures and to steer performance closely thanks to KPIs.
Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams in strategic initiatives.
Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.

Responsabilités Principales

Agir à titre de partenaire d’affaires de confiance en fournissant des analyses financières claires et une visibilité accrue afin de soutenir la prise de décision.

Contribuer à l’amélioration des flux de trésorerie, avec un accent particulier sur l’optimisation du fonds de roulement (OWC) et la réduction du délai moyen de recouvrement des créances (DSO).
Superviser la préparation de l’ensemble des rapports financiers et fournir des analyses précises et opportunes de la performance financière et opérationnelle réelle par rapport au budget, aux prévisions et à l’exercice précédent, avec une attention particulière portée au chiffre d’affaires, à la rentabilité des projets, aux marges, aux coûts, au taux d’utilisation des ressources et à la génération de trésorerie.
Développer et suivre les indicateurs clés de performance (KPI) liés à l’atteinte des objectifs financiers, afin d’assurer une visibilité et un contrôle sur l’évolution des activités.
Soutenir de manière proactive les dirigeants opérationnels en leur fournissant des informations et analyses financières visant notamment à optimiser la rentabilité des projets et des services ainsi que les structures de coûts.
En collaboration avec la Trésorerie Groupe, gérer les relations avec les institutions financières, les assureurs et les autres parties prenantes stratégiques.
Garantir la conformité aux exigences légales en matière de rapports financiers, de fiscalité et de réglementation.
Coordonner les activités comptables du centre de services partagés et veiller à l’exactitude des clôtures financières, y compris la révision des rapprochements de bilan, des provisions, des charges à payer et des estimations clés.
Gérer les relations avec les auditeurs externes et coordonner la planification des audits, la préparation de la documentation requise ainsi que le suivi des actions correctives.
Coordonner les déclarations fiscales (impôt sur les sociétés, taxes indirectes, charges sociales et autres obligations réglementaires) avec les experts externes et soutenir les vérifications ou demandes des autorités fiscales.

Qualifications

Profil recherché

Diplôme universitaire pertinent en administration des affaires, économie ou dans un domaine connexe. Un MBA ou une maîtrise en finance constitue un atout.
