As a tutor and mentor at Scholars Education Centre, you will be responsible for providing superior individualized academic support to our students. You are joining a dynamic team that will work with you to make sure that you make a difference in lives of each and every student you have the opportunity to work with.
Essential Job Functions
- Instruct students on an as-needed basis
- Report student progress
- Prepare teaching materials, when applicable
- Attend training workshops
- Complete administrative tasks
- Achieve Real Life Results for each student! Follow, adapt, and provide feedback regarding each student’s individual Goal Sheet – our guideline and benchmark to providing individual success for each student we work with!
Requirements
- Experienced and educated in the background of tutoring/mentoring to be provided
- Able to work both as a part of a team and independently
- Strong communication and multitasking abilities
- Experience with students in a teaching or tutoring environment
- Excellent organizational skills

Responsibilities
Provide individualized academic instruction and mentoring to students, and report on their progress. Prepare teaching materials as needed, attend training, complete administrative tasks, and follow and provide feedback on each student's Goal Sheet.
Requirements
Candidates should have relevant education and experience in tutoring or mentoring, including experience working with students in a teaching or tutoring environment. They should communicate well, multitask, stay organized, and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
