Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Production Control & Logistics Coordinator to support production planning, inventory management, and material flow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience coordinating production schedules, managing work orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and using ERP/MRP systems to support daily manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, release, and reconcile production work orders.
- Support production scheduling and monitor workflow to ensure timely completion.
- Maintain accurate inventory records for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods.
- Monitor customer forecasts, EDI releases, and material requirements.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and internal material movement.
- Perform inventory reconciliation, cycle counts, and discrepancy investigations.
- Maintain production records and reports using ERP/MRP systems.
- Collaborate with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Shipping teams to resolve operational issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in production control, logistics, inventory management, or a related manufacturing role.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, JobBOSS, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and production reporting.
- Strong understanding of inventory control, production scheduling, and work order management.
- Familiarity with BOMs, material planning, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in metal or automotive manufacturing is preferred.
