Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job DescriptionWe are currently hiring an experienced Forklift Operator / Shipper & Receiver to join our warehouse team in Mississauga.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts, managing incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing shipping documentation, and coordinating freight deliveries.
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who can work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate Counterbalance and Reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Load, unload, move, and organize warehouse materials.
- Prepare and process incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Complete Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, and shipping documentation.
- Coordinate freight bookings, pickups, and deliveries with carriers.
- Use RF scanners for inventory tracking and warehouse transactions.
- Verify shipment quantities, weights, and product information.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate shipping and receiving records.
- Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Previous experience in shipping and receiving is required.
- Proven experience operating Counterbalance and Reach forklifts.
- Valid forklift certification/licence.
- Experience preparing BOLs and other shipping documents.
- Knowledge of freight booking and carrier coordination.
- Experience with RF scanners, inventory systems, and data entry.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform basic shipping calculations.
- Ability to lift and handle warehouse materials as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Full-time, permanent employment
- Consistent Monday-to-Friday daytime schedule
- $20.00/hour starting pay
