🚨 NOW HIRING – SPINNING MACHINE SET-UP OPERATOR / CNC PROGRAMMER
📍 Location: Vaughan, ON (Hwy 7 & Keele St)
💰 Pay: $21–$27/hour (Based on Experience)
💼 Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent | On-Site
We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined CNC Programmer / Spinning Machine Set-Up Operator to join a metal manufacturing facility.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CNC programming, machine setup, and metal-forming operations, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for hydraulic metal spinning equipment.
- Set up and operate CNC/PNC spinning machines.
- Install and align tooling, mandrels, rollers, and fixtures.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
- Adjust machine parameters, speeds, feeds, and forming sequences.
- Perform quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and precision measuring tools.
- Troubleshoot programming, tooling, and machine setup issues.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous experience in CNC programming and machine setup is required.
- Experience with CNC/PNC metal spinning, flow forming, CNC machining, or similar equipment is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming, tool paths, and machine parameters.
- Ability to independently perform machine setups and changeovers.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading, GD&T, and precision measurements.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial manufacturing environment.
