Purpose

The Director, Loyalty Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing Scotiabank's loyalty acquisition strategy to drive sustainable growth in loyalty membership, customer acquisition, and product adoption. The role leads initiatives designed to attract new customers and deepen relationships through the loyalty ecosystem, leveraging data-driven insights, strategic partnerships, marketing channels, and innovative acquisition strategies.

Acting as a senior leader within the Loyalty team, the Director will identify growth opportunities, optimize acquisition performance, and collaborate across Product, Marketing, Analytics, Risk, Digital, and partner teams to deliver measurable business results and support the Bank's strategic growth objectives.

Is this role right for you? - In this role you will:

Loyalty Acquisition Strategy & Growth

Develop and execute the enterprise loyalty acquisition strategy, driving growth in loyalty membership, customer acquisition, and product adoption.

Identify and prioritize growth opportunities through loyalty programs, strategic partnerships, channels, and customer value propositions.

Translate business objectives into actionable acquisition plans and measurable growth outcomes.

Commercialization, Performance & Optimization

Lead the design and execution of acquisition initiatives, campaigns, and go-to-market strategies that attract, enroll, activate, and convert customers.

Establish and manage key performance indicators including customer acquisition, loyalty enrollment, activation, conversion, customer lifetime value, and revenue contribution.

Leverage analytics and customer insights to optimize acquisition performance and inform strategic decision-making.

Stakeholder Leadership & Collaboration

Partner with Product, Marketing, Digital, Analytics, Loyalty Engagement, and business line leaders to deliver integrated acquisition strategies and growth initiatives.

Influence senior stakeholders and external partners to align priorities, investments, and resources against acquisition objectives.

Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centric growth.

People Leadership & Risk Management

Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering an inclusive culture focused on accountability, innovation, and results.

Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, Code of Conduct, risk appetite, and regulatory requirements, while maintaining effective operational and business controls.
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree is highly preferred, especially with a focus on strategy, marketing, or finance
- 7+ years of experience in consulting, finance, loyalty programs, or strategic partnerships.
Proven track record in:

• Commercialization and go-to-market strategy development

• Product integration and cross-functional leadership

• Managing strategic partnerships, ideally in financial services or customer loyalty ecosystems

Strong background in:

• Financial planning and analysis

• Rewards program management

• Customer acquisition and engagement strategies
• Experience navigating complex accounting structures related to loyalty provisioning and rewards
