The Role

The Business Analytics Channels & Servicing Team partners with channel management and transformation stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive view of customer sales and service touchpoints across digital, branch, contact centre, ABM, and other assisted channels. This work influences how Scotiabank measures, improves, and transforms customer experiences across key journeys such as onboarding, investment management, service resolution, and cross-channel engagement.
The primary function of this role is to support cross-channel partners by prioritizing and managing analytics projects through the full project lifecycle and delivering high-impact analytical outputs, including dashboards, case studies, models, reusable data assets, and executive-ready insights that inform business decisions.
This is a high-visibility role for someone who enjoys combining technical analytics, business strategy, and clear communication. The successful candidate will be supported in performing complex analysis, translating findings into clear recommendations, and building trusted relationships with partners and senior leaders across different levels of technical expertise.

Analytics Project Management

In this role, you will work collaboratively with business partners to understand their needs, explore business problems, create analytics solutions, and share insights in ways that are clear, practical, and useful.
Manage projects through the full project lifecycle, including
Scope out projects by creating requirements, timelines, project scope, etc.
Create scalable analytical outputs, including new data sets, dashboards, reusable data assets, actionable insights, and deep-dive analytics that support business growth, transformation priorities, and improved customer outcomes.
Create artifacts, such as project plans, documentation, data lineage, metadata, metrics definitions etc.
Present analytical outputs using clear storytelling, compelling visuals, and practical recommendations that help business partners and senior stakeholders make informed decisions.
Build inclusive, cross-functional connections across data requests from diverse teams to reduce duplication, streamline priorities, and create shared value across channels and business partners.

2. Stakeholder Management

Act as a trusted analytics partner with Channel teams, including Digital, Branch, Contact Centre, ABM, and other key stakeholders, by listening to business needs, identifying opportunities, and recommending data-driven solutions.
Share findings and recommendations with senior leadership in scheduled and ad hoc forums, using clear visuals, slides, and storytelling to create understanding, invite discussion, and support informed decisions.
Engage in regular meetings with business lines and functional stakeholders to understand their priorities, share perspectives, and suggest data analysis or visualizations that help support business growth.
Collaborate with other Data, Technology, and Analytics partners
Promote data literacy with partners and key stakeholders by helping build shared understanding of available data, tools, and analytical approaches.
Encourage data-informed decision-making by making insights accessible, relevant, and actionable for a range of audiences.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

Education in Business, Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
End-to-end analytics experience, including exploring, cleaning, aggregating, and consolidating data; creating analytical outputs; synthesizing information in easy-to-understand formats; and communicating findings to business partners
Project management skills or experience coordinating work across multiple priorities, partners, or deliverables
Experience querying and working with large data sets, with exposure to an Enterprise Data Lake, Enterprise Data Warehouse, or Cloud environment considered an asset
Ability to manage the planning, processes, and coordination of multiple projects
Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Looker, Tableau, Genie, or similar platforms
Experience with at least one programming or querying language, such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, BigQuery, or Databricks
Experience in banking, financial services, or another customer-focused industry
Experience in contact centre, branch, digital, or channel performance analytics
Experience building models, analytical frameworks, or decision-support tools

Working Conditions:

Work in a standard office-based environment; occasional non standard hours may be required to meet business or reporting deadlines.
Location: 44 King St West, Toronto
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 am - 5 pm EST
