Purpose

Delivers the Scene+ engagement program for Scotiabank clients - turning loyalty engagement strategy into live, measurable offers, campaigns and lifecycle journeys that drive profitable client behaviours such as card activation, everyday spend capture, deposit and balance growth, product depth, digital adoption and retention.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Loyalty Engagement, this role is the execution and analytical engine behind the engagement mandate: it builds the offers, runs the test-and-learn agenda, measures what worked, and manages the day-to-day working relationships with Scene+ and coalition partners that bring those offers to life.

The role is accountable for executional excellence, accuracy and speed - ensuring every loyalty offer reaching a Scotiabank client is relevant, commercially sound, correctly disclosed and fully compliant with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Is this role right for you? - In this role you will:

Offer & Campaign Delivery

Build and deliver loyalty offers, accelerators, bonus-point promotions and always-on lifecycle journeys that target defined client behaviours across Cards, Day-to-Day Banking and Lending.

Develop campaign briefs, offer mechanics, eligibility logic, terms and conditions and creative inputs; shepherd each initiative from brief through build, QA, launch and wrap-up.

Manage the loyalty engagement campaign calendar - sequencing, dependencies, capacity and critical-path dates - and flag conflicts or slippage early.

Coordinate execution across Marketing, Digital, Channels, Martech, agency and Scene+ delivery teams to ensure on-time, on-brief, error-free deployment.

Measurement, Analytics & Test-and-Learn

Own the day-to-day performance measurement of loyalty engagement initiatives: build the reporting, track results against KPIs, and surface insight rather than raw data.

Design and run the test-and-learn agenda in partnership with Data & Analytics - including control-group setup, incrementality reads and clear hypotheses for each test.

Maintain the offer performance library: what worked, for which segment, at what cost, with what lift - so learnings compound rather than reset each cycle.

Support business casing and offer economics (cost per incremental behaviour, earn-to-burn, projected lift and payback), preparing the analysis the Senior Manager takes forward for approval.

Prepare monthly and quarterly performance packages and scorecards for internal leadership and partner forums.

Partner & Ecosystem Support

Act as a day-to-day working contact for Scene+ and coalition partners (Empire/Sobeys, Cineplex, Home Hardware, Shell and emerging partners) on offer development, activation and reporting.

Support delivery of Scotiabank’s consortium commitments, including the Empire Net New Shopper Commitment - tracking progress, maintaining the performance view and escalating risks to target.

Gather and maintain the partner offer inventory and calendar inputs, ensuring Scotiabank moments are represented and correctly executed by partners.

Prepare materials for partner working sessions and business reviews.

Business Line & Stakeholder Enablement

Support Cards, Day-to-Day Banking, Lending, Branch and Contact Centre teams with loyalty value proposition content, FAQs, client-facing narratives and enablement materials.

Respond to business-line questions on offer eligibility, mechanics and performance, acting as a reliable first point of contact for the engagement portfolio.

Build effective working relationships across Marketing, Data & Analytics, Technology, Legal, Compliance and Risk to keep initiatives moving.

Contribute competitive and market scans on loyalty engagement practices to inform the broader strategy.

Risk, Governance & Controls

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

Ensure all offers and communications comply with Scotiabank’s Values, Code of Conduct and Global Sales Principles, and with operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions, privacy (PIPEDA/CASL), marketing conduct and consumer-protection requirements.

Own the documentation and control artefacts for assigned initiatives: approvals, terms and conditions sign-off, disclosure accuracy, points accrual validation and audit-ready records.

Identify and escalate issues, errors, emerging risks and control gaps promptly and transparently.

Personal Leadership & Development

Operate as an individual contributor with high ownership - self-directed on assigned initiatives, escalating judgement calls rather than routine decisions.

Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative, high-performing team culture aligned to enterprise values.

May provide informal guidance or direction to junior team members, co-op students or agency resources.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:

Required

4–6 years in loyalty, CRM, lifecycle or campaign marketing, cards/payments, or customer engagement - with hands-on delivery accountability.

Demonstrated experience taking a campaign or offer from brief to launch to measured result in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.

Strong analytical skills: comfortable working in data, building performance reporting, and drawing a clear “so what” from results.

Solid commercial fundamentals - able to build and interrogate an offer business case with support.

Highly organized with strong project and calendar management discipline; credible managing multiple concurrent deliverables under deadline.

Clear, concise written and verbal communication; able to brief agencies and update senior stakeholders.

Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, analytics or a related discipline.

Preferred

Experience with coalition, consortium or multi-partner loyalty programs.

Experience in financial services, retail or another regulated environment.

Working familiarity with campaign orchestration, offer decisioning or personalization platforms, and with SQL or comparable data tools.

Exposure to partner-facing or vendor-facing working relationships.

Working Conditions

Standard office-based (hybrid) environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence, particularly around campaign launches and partner deadlines. Limited domestic travel.
