The Role
Manager of Loyalty and Partnership Infrastructure will lead the Loyalty Program, collaborating with teams and vendors. Key responsibilities include managing vendor initiatives, ensuring timely deliverables, documenting changes, The role involves overseeing production support, monitoring platform stability, reporting to senior management, addressing audit issues, promoting a customer-focused culture, and building strong stakeholder relationships.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- Being Subject Matter expert of Loyalty Program to support project workstreams and working closely with Loyalty Partnership team, Business Partners, and the Vendor.
- Lead the management and support of internal and external vendor roadmap initiatives associated with our business Loyalty program
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective time management skills while maintaining accuracy of project deliverables within budget and established department guidelines and protocols, escalating as necessary. Participating in and/or managing specific sections of large projects.
- Ensure that requirements are clearly, accurately, and thoroughly documented and understood for both system changes and/or process changes and that there is value and consistency added to the user and customer experience. Experience must include both Waterfall and Agile.
- Work closely with business partners to analyze the end-to-end process and ensure that requirements are clearly, accurately, and thoroughly documented and understood.
- Engage and manage relationships with business, technology partners and the vendor to ensure system requirements are realized, by reviewing test plans, test scenarios, test results to drive monthly releases to successful implementation.
- Managing Production Support daily, L&P customer escalation issues, and proactive resolution of rejects generated via Power BI Report.
- Lead the attestation and reconciliation process from Operations and Technology end to support Partner invoice payment
- Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Ensure the end-to-end process is fully analyzed and documented which include all delivery channels, affected processing units and technologies.
- Manage work and tasks with Development and other stakeholders and ensures system requirements are realized.
- Develops, maintains, and enhances relationships with management within service, product, development, and delivery areas in the execution of projects.
- Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
- Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment
- Prepare and deliver performance reports on system operations for senior leadership.
- Technical project delivery and continuous improvement
- Data stewardship of Loyalty data at the Bank
- End to end project delivery
- Oversees loyalty platform provider on any infrastructure plans
- Collaborate with enterprise cyber and fraud teams to develop and implement enhanced security, infrastructure for loyalty
- Custodian of Operation process documentation from intake, onboarding to continuous updates

- The incumbent must hold a relevant and recognized degree and proven IT experience with an emphasis on complex systems/business initiatives.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, AI tools
- Candidates with demonstrated curiosity to learn, adaptable to changing situation and goal oriented will be given preference.
- Work experience in technology and financial services /Fintech
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, supported by well-developed logical and analytical competencies
- Possess a very good understanding of current IT/Digital practices, systems development techniques, including requirements specification and testing methodologies, real time analytical and formal modelling tools and keep current with rapidly changing technology
