Manager, Strategic Initiatives

As a Manager, Strategic Initiatives, you will play a key role in advancing the strategic priorities of Scotia Financial Planning across Canada. Working closely with business leaders and partners, you will support initiatives that enhance the advisor and employee experience, improve business effectiveness, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the business.

This role offers the opportunity to drive meaningful change, support innovation, and help shape the future of Scotia Financial Planning through strategic thinking, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

The Scotia Financial Planning team is looking for a strategic, results-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, driving change, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver impactful outcomes.

Champions a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
Supports the design, development, and execution of strategic initiatives aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
Partners with stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment, engagement, and successful implementation of initiatives.
Supports change management, communications, learning, and adoption activities related to new programs, processes, and tools.
Identifies opportunities to improve advisor and employee experiences, business effectiveness, and operational efficiency.
Leverages data, stakeholder feedback, and industry best practices to develop recommendations and support decision-making.
Champions a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across Scotia Financial Planning.
Manages multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Understands how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Champions a high-performance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.

Wealth Management industry experience is considered an asset.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
