  • Support benchmarking and performance tracking of expense metrics to assess efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Own and deliver consolidated expense planning, forecasting, and reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Deliver clear, actionable insights on expense drivers, variances, productivity, and operating leverage.
  • Challenge and validate allocations and support transparency across shared and direct costs.
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders and business lines to support end-to-end cost planning and management.
  • Coordinate inputs and timelines across contributors to ensure recurring deliverables are accurate, complete, and delivered on schedule.
  • Support the Director in preparing materials for senior leadership and executive stakeholders, including CFO-level discussions, as needed.
  • Contribute to process improvement, automation, data-quality, and simplification opportunities that improve timeliness, accuracy, and transparency.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  • University degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline; MBA or professional designation such as CPA, CA, or CMA is preferred.
  • Approximately 7+ years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis, expense management, reporting, forecasting, or related functions.
  • Data Analytics experience using SQL and Python is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex data into clear, actionable insight.
  • Demonstrated experience managing recurring reporting and forecasting deliverables within tight timelines and across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to prepare concise materials for senior Finance stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of banking or business strategy, expense drivers, allocations, financial systems, and control expectations.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and escalate risks or issues with sound judgment.
  • Experience contributing to process improvement, automation, data-quality, or finance transformation initiatives is an asset.
