The Senior Manager, Performance Analytics & Insights is responsible for leading the Performance Intelligence function within Strategic Investment & Performance Management (SIPM) for Canadian Banking. The role serves as the center of excellence for enterprise analytics, executive insights, performance measurement, and decision intelligence, transforming investment, operational, resource, and business performance data into actionable recommendations that support strategic decision-making, portfolio optimization, and value realization. The role enables senior leadership to proactively identify opportunities, risks, trade-offs, and performance gaps through predictive analytics, executive dashboards, scenario modeling, and performance intelligence.

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

Leads Performance Intelligence capability by converting investment, portfolio, operational, and resource data into predictive insights, executive intelligence, and strategic recommendations that optimize investment decisions, accelerate value realization, and improve business outcomes.
Design and maintain enterprise performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs, KRIs, OKRs, value scorecards, and portfolio health indicators.
Establish a consistent performance management methodology across Canadian Banking strategic initiatives.
Monitor portfolio performance against business outcomes and strategic objectives.
Evaluate initiative effectiveness and provide recommendations to improve execution and optimize outcomes.
Ensure performance metrics support executive accountability and transparent decision-making.
Lead development of executive dashboards and reporting for ABR, QBR, VRC, CBLT, and senior leadership forums.
Create a single source of truth view of investment performance, value realization, resource effectiveness, and strategic outcomes.
Produce executive-ready storytelling that translates data into insights, implications, and decisions.
Support investment and prioritization discussions through fact-based analysis and performance intelligence.
Partner with Business Lines, Finance, Strategy, Technology, Transformation, and Operations teams to align performance metrics and insights.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders by providing objective challenge and evidence-based recommendations.
Analyze portfolio performance and benefits realization across strategic investments.
Develop value realization monitoring, benefits forecasting, and value-at-risk analytics.
Provide early-warning indicators for underperforming initiatives and emerging execution risks.
Measure investment effectiveness, resource productivity, and strategic outcome delivery.
Facilitate portfolio deep dives and performance reviews to support executive governance discussions.
Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, Math, Engineering, Statistics or Computer Science
MBA (or Masters of Finance) and / or CFA strongly preferred
6 to 8+ years of work experience in Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Data Management, Data Governance, or Business Intelligence related roles
2+ years of experience in programming, application development, and / or data warehousing
Demonstrates strong technical proficiency and business acumen, with a strong understanding of data fundamentals, reporting software, and business process engineering
Experience in programming tools such as SQL, SAS, Python, R
Proficiency in MS Office, Power BI for reporting, data analysis, and dashboarding / visualization
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong quantitative skills focused on financial and data analysis
A high level of attention to detail
The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work
The ability to excel under pressure amid demanding deadlines
The ability to perform effectively in a team environment
High professional standards including a strong sense of personal integrity and teamwork
Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations
Independent thinker and proven ability to make decisions
