We are currently hiring Full time Evenings Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Retirement Home in Collingwood

- Mobile device and 3 uniforms provided
- Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
- RN or RPN
- Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
- Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
- Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse
- A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
- Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
- Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
- Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
- Availability to work days and every other weekend
- This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement

Responsibilities
Provide personal support and care to residents in a retirement home while collaborating with the care team to deliver excellent care. Contribute to improvements in care practices and support residents’ health and well-being.
Requirements
Applicants must hold an accepted PSW-related qualification, such as a PSW certificate, nursing qualification or student status with two clinical placements completed, Developmental Support Worker diploma, or foreign-trained healthcare professional status. Requirements also include a valid driver’s license and vehicle, specified immunizations, a current vulnerable sector check, Standard CPR Level C and First Aid, and the ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
