We are currently hiring Part Time -days/evenings Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community care shifts in Pickering, Ajax, Oshawa & Whitby area

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
RN or RPN
Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB and Tetanus
Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
Availability to work days OR evenings and every other weekend
This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement

Provide community care services to clients in the Pickering, Ajax, Oshawa, and Whitby areas. Deliver high-quality personal support while collaborating with the leadership team to improve care delivery.

Requirements

Must hold a valid PSW certificate, DSW diploma, or be a nursing student/foreign trained nurse with a valid driver's license and vehicle. Requires a current vulnerable sector check, CPR/First Aid certification, and meeting specific immunization requirements.
