We are currently hiring Full time/ Part Time, Days, Evening and Nights Personal Support Workers (PSW) for Community Care in North York

Qualifications Accepted To Work As a PSW

Valid Certificate as a Personal Support Worker (PSW)
RN or RPN
Nursing student (2 clinical placements completed)
Valid Developmental Support Worker Diploma
Foreign trained healthcare professional - Nurse

Requirements

A valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for work daily is required
Meet Immunization requirements – MMR, Varicella, TB, Tetanus
Current vulnerable sector check (VSC)
Current Standard CPR level C certificate and First Aid
Availability to work days, evenings, nights and every other weekend.
This is a physically demanding position and requires hand, arm and shoulder dexterity, sensory ability, lifting to a maximum of approximately fifty-five (55) pounds, walking, climbing stairs, standing, bending, reaching, and frequent movement

Responsibilities

Provide personal support and care to clients within the community across various shifts including days, evenings, and nights. Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care while identifying opportunities for service improvements.

Requirements

Requires a valid Personal Support Worker certificate or equivalent nursing/developmental support credentials and a valid driver's license with a vehicle. Candidates must also possess current CPR/First Aid certification and pass a vulnerable sector check.
