Our client is a Leading Restoration Specialist in the GTA, providing 24‑hour response to the personal and property needs of homeowners and commercial businesses overcoming the devastating setbacks caused by fire, flood, wind, and other perils. They are seeking a strong operational leader to oversee field mitigation activities and elevate service delivery across their Burlington division.

About the Role

The Mitigation Manager is responsible for the productivity, quality, and budgetary compliance of all job‑site mitigation work (excluding contents and cleaning). This is a hands‑on leadership role requiring regular job‑site presence, strong operational oversight, and the ability to coach and develop field teams while maintaining high standards of documentation, equipment management, and service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Champion the company’s brand and deliver a consistently high customer experience, including strong Net Promoter Score (NPS) performance.

  • Maintain optimal staffing levels across mitigation technicians, team leads, and sub‑trades.

  • Provide oversight, coaching, equipment, and best‑practice guidance to field teams.

  • Ensure all mitigation work aligns with project scopes, work orders, and budgets.

  • Identify and implement efficient, responsive processes for rapid on‑site service delivery.

  • Maintain regular in‑person attendance on job sites to support quality and productivity.

  • Oversee service vehicle cleanliness, organization, stocking, and maintenance.

  • Track, maintain, and manage all mitigation equipment with precision.

  • Ensure accurate documentation and timely submission into the file management system.

  • Complete written annual performance reviews for mitigation technicians and support reviews for team leads.

  • Participate in the 24/7 on‑call rotation to support emergency response commitments.

  • Lead weekly safety talks and ensure full compliance with the Ontario Occupational Health and Safety Act.

  • Promote a culture of safety, training, and continuous improvement.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Strong background in restoration, construction, or field operations leadership.

  • Proven ability to manage teams, workflows, and budgets in a fast‑paced environment.

  • Skilled at coaching field staff, improving processes, and maintaining high service standards.

  • Comfortable with hands‑on site involvement and emergency response requirements.

  • Organized, detail‑oriented, and committed to accurate documentation and equipment tracking.

  • Safety‑focused leader with knowledge of Ontario OHSA requirements.

Compensation

Remuneration: $60,000–$70,000 per year (depending on experience) plus health benefits.
