Securiguard is hiring professional Suited Retail Security Officers to provide a strong customer service-focused security presence in a luxury retail environment. This role emphasizes visibility, professionalism, and proactive reporting to help create a safe and welcoming space for customers and staff.
Location: Downtown Vancouver, BC
Pay Rate: $19/hr
Employment Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and act as a visual theft deterrent
- Maintain a professional presence at store entrances/exits or high-loss areas
- Identify and report risks, hazards, and safety concerns to the Manager on Duty
- Patrol designated areas as required
- Document incidents, thefts, and safety concerns using TrackTik
- Support store management and liaise with police when required
- Protect persons and property through observation and reporting
- Standing Position: This is a fully standing position. Officers are expected to remain on their feet and attentive throughout the shift.
- Downtown Vancouver Location: The position is based at a high-end luxury retail store in Downtown Vancouver. There is no onsite parking available; the location is fully accessible by public transit.
- Personal Devices: Personal mobile phones and other personal electronic devices cannot be used while on the retail floor during the shift.
- Valid BC Security Worker License
- Basic Security Training (BST) completed
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong customer service and report-writing skills
