Salary: $18.50 per hour
Securiguard is accepting applications and actively hiring for Gatehouse Guards at a Distribution Centre in Belleville, Ontario.
Requirements
- Valid Security Guard License
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience, preferably in Distribution Center/Gatehouse setting
- Has their own reliable personal vehicle to commute
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to enforce access control and basic safety practices
- Ability to write clear, concise and informative reports
- Must be knowledgeable on various systems including but not limited to CCTV various types, elevators, mechanical alarms, intercom systems, fire and life safety systems, control room system
- Physically able to perform various duties. Including, but not limited to, standing, walking, and sitting for prolonged periods of time

Responsibilities
Monitor and control access at a distribution centre gatehouse, enforcing access control and basic safety practices. Operate and monitor security and life-safety systems, and write clear, concise, informative reports.
Requirements
Applicants must hold a valid security guard license and have at least one year of security experience, preferably in a distribution centre or gatehouse. They must have reliable personal transportation, strong communication and report-writing skills, familiarity with security and safety systems, and the physical ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
