Securiguard Services is looking for experienced security guards for our various sites across the Ottawa region.
At Securiguard, our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

Salary: $18.25 - $23 per hour

Requirements
- Valid Ontario Security License
- Standard First Aid & Level C CPR with AED
- 1 year of security experience, preferred
- Diploma/Degree in the field of security or law enforcement preferred ie Justice Studies, Police Foundations, etc
- Excellent communication & report writing skills
- Customer service experience is an asset
- Approaches a situation with a listening mindset and empathy
- Capable of standing and walking for a duration of up to 12 hours
- Ability to problem solve, effective with crowd management and use discretion and good judgment
- A valid drivers license & having a personal vehicle is an asset

Responsibilities
Enforce provincial and municipal regulations as well as site policies and procedures, monitor CCTV and security control room equipment, and control site access. Report hazards and security breaches, and respond to incidents to help maintain the safety of stakeholders.
Requirements
A valid Ontario Security License and Standard First Aid with Level C CPR and AED are required; one year of security experience is preferred. A security or law enforcement diploma or degree is preferred, along with strong communication and report-writing skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to stand and walk for up to 12 hours.
