Security Officer (Temporary Full-Time) - Sherwood Park

We are looking for security professionals to work at a facility for our clients in Sherwood Park. This is a temporary full-time position covering a leave of absence (LOA).

Location: Sherwood Park, AB

Pay Rate: $21.00/hour

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 12:30 AM - 9:00 AM

Responsibilities

• Provide access control and welcome authorized staff, visitors, and service providers.
• Conduct regular patrols of the property and grounds to help maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Monitor site activities and report any concerns in accordance with established procedures.
• Complete daily activity logs and incident reports accurately and professionally.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive interactions with staff and visitors.
• Follow site protocols and security procedures with a high degree of accountability and attention to detail.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all privacy requirements.
• Support a safe, respectful, and professional environment at all times.
  
  

Qualifications

• Valid Alberta Security Licence.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and own car.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Excellent observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable working overnight shifts on a consistent schedule.
• Demonstrated professionalism, reliability, and adherence to procedures.
• Experience working in security, residential facilities, community services, or similar environments is considered an asset.
