Site Supervisor – Critical Infrastructure & Energy

Location: Surrey, BC

Job Type: Full-Time

About The Role

Securiguard is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to support day-to-day security operations within a high-profile critical infrastructure and energy/utility environment.

This is an operational leadership role for someone who is ready to take the next step beyond a Security Officer position. You'll help coordinate the team during daily operations, support officers in the field, and ensure patrols, radio communications, dispatch, access control, and emergency procedures are carried out safely and effectively.

The ideal candidate is a confident security professional who leads by example, communicates well, and can remain calm and organized in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do

  • Provide direction and support to Security Officers during daily operations and shift activities.
  • Help coordinate patrols, radio communications, dispatch, access control, alarm response, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure assigned patrols, site checks, and security duties are completed correctly and in accordance with post orders.
  • Monitor radio communications and respond appropriately to operational requests and escalations.
  • Assist officers with questions, site procedures, and operational concerns.
  • Provide real-time coaching and feedback to team members to maintain professional standards.
  • Help identify training needs and support refresher training for security personnel.
  • Monitor site activities and report operational concerns, deficiencies, and incidents.
  • Review daily reports, logbooks, and incident documentation for completeness and accuracy.
  • Assist with incident response and coordinate with emergency services when required.
  • Help maintain a professional and positive working relationship with the client and site stakeholders.
  • Step into a greater leadership role and support site operations in the Site Manager's absence, as delegated.

What We're Looking For

  • Valid BC Security Worker License in good standing.
  • Previous security supervisory or leadership experience is preferred.
  • Strong security experience in a critical infrastructure, industrial, energy, utilities, corporate, or similarly complex environment is an asset.
  • Experience with radio communications, dispatch, SOC operations, patrol coordination, or alarm monitoring is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of security procedures, post orders, incident response, and emergency protocols.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong report-writing and documentation skills.
  • Ability to provide direction and support to a diverse security team.
  • Confident decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional during emergencies and high-pressure situations.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems and technology.
  • First Aid/CPR certification is an asset.

Why Join Securiguard?

This is an opportunity to move beyond a traditional Security Officer role and develop your leadership and operational experience in a complex security environment.

You'll gain hands-on experience supporting security operations, coordinating teams, responding to incidents, and working with advanced security systems and procedures - while building the skills needed for continued growth within the security industry.
