As a security professional, you'll contribute to the safety to our stakeholders by enforcing provincial and municipal regulations, enforcing policies and procedures, monitoring CCTV systems and operating security control room equipment, controlling access to the site, reporting any hazards or security breaches, and responding to incidents.

Salary: $19 - $19.05 per hour
The Day-to-Day
- Provide a visual presence and monitor premises to ensure the safety of personnel and property.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, taking appropriate action.
- Perform access control, checking credentials and ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting clients and visitors when needed.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents and activities.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License and First AID/CPR
- Proven experience in security, preferably in a construction, corporate, commercial or similar setting
- Excellent Communication Skills, observation and attention to detail skills.
- Valid Ontario Drivers LicenseG2/G license & having a personal vehicle
- Keen Eye for Observing Exterior and Interior Premises
- Access Control Experience
- Ability to walk/stand 12-hour shifts providing proactive and reactive security patrols and response to incidents

Requirements
Candidates must have a valid Ontario Security Guard License, First Aid/CPR certification, and a valid Ontario G2 or G driver's license with access to a personal vehicle. The role also requires security experience, strong communication and observation skills, access control experience, and the ability to stand or walk for 12-hour shifts.
