Security Guard - Corporate Events

Securitas Canada is looking for professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team for a temporary corporate event from Nov 1-7, 2026, in Downtown Toronto.

This posting is for multiple vacancies on a temporary basis. We will be looking to retain guards on a permanent basis in casual, part time or full-time roles (when available) that perform well and have excellent attendance at the event.

What You Will Do:

Pay rate is $19.00 per hour.

• Monitor and patrol the assigned property
• Control access to the site and ensure only authorized attendees are allowed into the venue/office.
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Assist attendees with inquiries and ensure their safety during the event.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
• Conduct regular patrols on foot and inspections
• Enforce client and site-specific security policies
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors etc.
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Contact emergency services when required
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned

What We Need from You:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence and First Aid and CPR Certificate
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
• Strong observation and attention to detail
• Ability to complete written reports accurately
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous security experience is required.
• Sites with government contracts will require candidates to be eligible for a reliability clearance. 
• Be able to work both early morning shifts and afternoon shifts. There are no night shifts for this position.
