Security Guard Group is looking to hire Full Time Security Guards in Georgetown, ON. This posting is for an active vacancy within the company
This position requires the security guard to have their own vehicle to use as a shelter on site.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Access Control
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Ability to sit, stand or walk for long periods of time
- Comfortable working with technology including smartphone applications and CCTV applications.
- Understanding security concepts and basic principles.
- Willingness to learn.
- Authentic, passionate, and accountable
- Ontario security guard license - Mandatory
- CPR and First Aid Certificate from a WSIB approved agency - Mandatory
- Personal vehicle to commute to work and occasional use as source of shelter
- Excellent communication skills to be able to interact with employees and facility management.
- Ability to make detailed reports
- Ability to use electronic surveillance equipment
- Ability to use good judgment to identify safety and security threats

Control access and help maintain safety and security at the work site. Use CCTV and other electronic surveillance equipment, communicate with employees and facility management, and prepare detailed reports.
Requirements
A valid Ontario security guard license and CPR or First Aid certification from a WSIB-approved agency are required. Candidates must have a personal vehicle for commuting and occasional use as shelter, strong communication and reporting skills, and the ability to use surveillance equipment and identify security threats.
