Position Overview

Under the direction of the Manager, Campus Operations, the Office Assistant’s key responsibility is to provide administrative support to the Manager of Campus Operations to fulfill the delivery of services and events.

Responsibilities

The key responsibility of the office assistant is to provide direct aid to the Manager of Campus Operations in

the following areas:

Process deposits daily.
Receive invoices from management and process them accordingly by coding them to the appropriate account.
Reconcile VISA statements and receipts monthly.
Assist in communications with internal and external parties.
Assist in contract fulfillment.
Provide support for council and other managers in the office when needed.
Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable daily
Reception duties -- answer telephones, confirm appointments, and email correspondence.
Assist office staff and council in ordering supplies for office and events.
Maintain a filing system.
Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Campus Operations.

Minimum Requirements
• Energetic, hardworking individual with the ability to take initiative
• Completed a minimum of one year of Post-Secondary education.
• Comfortable with speaking to large groups as well as individuals
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to work as part of a team
• Reliable and punctual
