Original job description
Company Description SenseNet Inc. is a regional wildfire risk resilience intelligence company focused on strengthening operational certainty and decision advantage for municipalities, emergency responders, and critical infrastructure operators in wildfire-prone regions. The company delivers a multi-layer wildfire intelligence ecosystem across the full wildfire lifecycle, from proactive risk awareness and ultra-early ignition detection to enhanced situational awareness and post-incident analysis. Using AI-powered monitoring stations, satellite-based fire risk mapping, and ground sensing networks, SenseNet reduces blind spots and uncertainty in the first critical minutes of ignition. Rather than selling devices, SenseNet operates as an infrastructure-level capability integrated into existing emergency response workflows to strengthen risk awareness, detection, operational confidence, and regional insight. The organization is committed to supporting community resilience and informed resource deployment for leadership and local councils.
Role Description The Project Operations Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in North Vancouver, BC. This role oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of SenseNet’s wildfire intelligence projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with stakeholder needs. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing project timelines and resources, coordinating cross-functional teams, and maintaining clear communication with internal and external partners such as municipalities and emergency response organizations. The Project Operations Manager will track operational performance, maintain project documentation, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality. This role also supports risk management, stakeholder reporting, and alignment of project activities with SenseNet’s broader strategic and operational objectives.

- Candidate should be able to travel to project sites and have site visits and help and supervise installation team.
- Stakeholder and client management skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships with municipalities, emergency services, and infrastructure partners.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, including competency in interpreting operational data, managing risk, and supporting informed decision-making.

- Experience in emergency management, public safety, infrastructure operations, or related fields is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations management, public safety, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work on-site in North Vancouver, BC, and occasionally travel to partner or deployment locations as required.
