Support Worker/ Caregiver/ Respite
We’re looking for compassionate, dependable, experienced Support Workers to support children and young adults aged 2–17.
Shifts we are hiring for:
Valid First Aid certification
Recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check
CFS Intervention Check
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation

- Casual Evening and weekend shifts
- Provide respite care and daily support.
- Follow each client’s care plan.
- Administer medication as directed.
- Prepare meals that meet dietary needs.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Support G-tube care when required.
- Offer companionship and encouragement.
- Plan fun, age-appropriate activities.
- Community outings
- Encourage independence and confidence.
- Provide attentive supervision.
- Keep the client’s environment safe and tidy.
- Share important updates with families.
- Report changes in health or behaviour.
- Respect each client’s privacy and dignity.
- Physical ability to lift and assist with mobility, as required

Responsibilities
Provide respite care and daily support to children and young adults, following individual care plans and assisting with medication, meals, mobility, and G-tube care when needed. Offer companionship, plan age-appropriate activities and outings, maintain a safe environment, communicate updates to families, and report changes in health or behaviour.
Requirements
Applicants must have valid First Aid certification, a recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check, a CFS Intervention Check, and a valid driver’s licence with reliable transportation. They must also be physically able to lift and assist with mobility as required.
